You have full control. You can easily reschedule or cancel any lesson yourself by logging into your account, with no fees—as long as you do so at least 24 hours in advance. This window helps us keep schedules reliable for all our students and instructors.

Is Steerz an MTO-approved driving school?

Absolutely. Steerz is a fully licensed and approved MTO driving school. This means our curriculum meets all provincial standards for the Beginner Driver Education (BDE) course, and every one of our instructors is MTO-licensed. Your training with us is officially recognized, which can help you get your G2 license sooner and qualify for insurance discounts.

What is the current refund policy in place at Steerz?

At Steerz, our goal is to provide an exceptional learning journey for our students. We recognize that circumstances can shift unexpectedly, and plans may need to be adjusted, impacting a student’s ability to complete their lessons.

Refund Eligibility: Students at Steerz are entitled to request refunds for lessons they haven’t yet commenced.

How to Request a Refund: To initiate a refund process, students should reach out to our customer service team via email at support@steerz.ca within 30 days of their lesson purchase. Refund requests submitted beyond this timeframe cannot be accommodated.

Processing Timeline: Upon receiving a refund request, we’ll carefully review it and aim to process refunds within 5-10 business days. Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used for booking.

Non-Refundable Costs: Please be aware that certain expenses, such as completed lessons or administrative fees related to the booking, may be deducted from the refundable amount.
